“Stayed for one night passing through. Very friendly on the phone and in person. We booked and payed for a back in spot. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a premium site on the back lot. Clean park. Nice level gravel pads. Picnic tables in good condition. Each site has a tree. Nice wide driving lanes. We appreciated the locked gate at night. We came in late after dinner and used the code with no problem.”
“Ask about contact info for Charlie Meade, retired US Marshal, who gives walking tours of Dodge City. It’s a great tour that covers local history, colorful stories and lots of funny anecdotes about the Gunsmoke TV series (he seems to know most of the cast). He does not charge a fee, but accepts “donations” that he says he uses to produce educational materials for kids and classrooms. He’s a riot with his marshal’s badge and six-gun.”
“Cute and charming RV Park! Spacious sites and clean bathrooms! Pool was refreshing, especially with the summer heat! We especially loved the neighbor’s horses that greeted us and let us pet them! It was such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.”
“Very nice park – We pulled in for just one night and were greeted with very nice people who helped find us a spot with few trees so that we could use our DirectTV satellite. Cute atmosphere with western signage. Rate was very good. Would stay here again if going through the area.”
